It's About Time is a new cookbook by Michael Schlow, a chef and owner of 3 restaurants in Boston. You will find some fantastic recipes along with beautiful photographs in this book. The first recipe of the book, "Warm Shrimp Salad", I tried the first night I got the book and it received rave reviews. The combination of shrimp with cannelini beans, arugula, tomatoes, lemon juice and chicken broth was truly outstanding. It was light yet so satisfying!
I have also tried the Veal Milanese and found it to be delicious as well. The list of recipes still to try is too long but The Schlow Burger, Rigatoni with Sopressata, White Beans, Tomato, and Black Olives, The Red Snapper with Black Olives, and the Potato Crusted Halibut are all on my list to enjoy soon.
This is definitely a winner of a cookbook. I came across it in the latest Jessica's Biscuit catalog and it caught my eye. You will refer to the book many times in the future. Just watch it quickly become food stained and dog-eared!
