Paula Deen and the Cholesterol Problem in this Country
I had to laugh the other day while watching an episode of Paula's Home Cooking. As you know, I am stuck on the couch with a broken ankle so my days consist of reading cookbooks, writing for my blog, watching the Food Network and then trying to drag myself into the kitchen to make something really satisfying for dinner (especially after doing nothing but thinking about food for 10 hours). Now, I am a lover of Southern cooking (one of my favorite places in the world is Charleston and a favorite restaurant is Justine's Kitchen in Charleston) and I love Krispy Kreme doughnuts but even my teeth started to hurt and my cholesterol levels shot up just watching this recipe. I give it to you below for your comments. I thought for one passing moment about making it but I think it was because my cast is too tight! By the way, the recipe got rated 5 stars by the reviewers.
UPDATE: Paula deen was seen on a recent episode drinking butter straight from a dish! Will the madness never end!
